Mammootty upcoming movie 'Mamangam' teaser has been released, It is a period drama film which is directed by M. Padmakumar. The film is based on historical Mamankam festival of the 18th century in the banks of the Bharathappuzha at Thirunavaya. The film follows the story of Chaaverukal warriors who plot to overthrow the Zamorin rulers.
Mammootty will be seen in multiple avatars in this film. This is the first Malayalam movie to be released in four languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It is also one of the most expensive movies made in Malayalam cinema. The film will also showcase a wide range of Kalaripayattu action sequences, which will be choreographed by Sham Kaushal. Unni Mukundan, Kaniha, Anu Sithara, Tarun Raj Arora, Prachi Tehlan are also in the lead role. This is a big film, the teaser is really awesome. Mamangam is expected to hit the screens by the end of this year.
