Abhishek Gupta Rao is the owner of IAS Coaching Centre. According to his official LinkedIn profile, he has been the CEO of Rao IAS Study Circle for the last 15 years. Before working at the coaching institute, Gupta worked at Jones Lang LaSalle from 2007 to 2008. Abhishek also worked as a Business Analyst for EvaluateServ for approximately 11 months in March 2006. Abhishek Gupta lives in Sector 48 of Gurugram. He has completed his schooling from a modern school, Delhi. He received the Bachelor of Finance and Investment Analysis (BFIA) degree from Shaheed Sukhdev Singh College of Business Studies in Delhi in the year 2004.

Dr. S. Rao had formed the IAS Study Circle in the year 1953. He started coaching center in a small room at Hotel Palace Heights and Hailey Road in Connaught Place. Delhi.
