More than 100 people died tragically in the stampede that broke out during Bhole Baba's satsang in Hathras. More than 100 people are injured. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the Hathras accident. CM Yogi has given instructions to provide financial assistance of Rs 2–2 lakh to the dead and Rs 50–50 thousand to the injured. According to the information, after the sermon was over, the devotees ran after the car of Bhole Baba, alias Sarkar Hari. Devotees wanted to touch Baba's feet and seek blessings. Because of this, a stampede broke out.
Who is Bhole Baba as Narayan Sakar Hari?
The real name of Bhole Baba, Narayan Sakar Hari, is Suraj Pal. This Baba started satsang during his work at IB. He has also been in UP Police; it is claimed that he became a Baba by taking VRS. Narayan Sakar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba, is a resident of the village Bahadur Nagri in Patiali tehsil of Etah. Baba started satsang during his job (in the intelligence department of the police). Later, he left his job and started serving the devotees. Then Suraj Pal became Sakar Vishwa Hari Bhole Baba and built his ashram in Patiali.
Baba himself had claimed that 26 years ago, he left the government job and started giving religious sermons in different villages and towns of Uttar Pradesh. Bhole Baba has lakhs of followers across the country, including Western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi.
