Salaar is an upcoming Telugu-language action thriller film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur, while the cinematography is done by Bhuvan Gowda. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 28 September 2023. The film is set in the 1980s and is about a gangster who is on a mission to avenge the death of his friend. The film is being made on a large scale and it is expected to be a major commercial success.
