The Wait is over! Uppena Telugu Movie trailer has been released and received a great response from audiences. It is an upcoming Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Bucchi Babu Sana and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers & Sukumar Writings banners. Panja Vaishnav Tej is making his acting debut with Uppena with Krithi Shetty while Vijay Sethupathi playing a prominent role. The film story is based on the honor killings backdrop of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing performed by Shamdat and Naveen Nooli respectively. Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the female lead’s dad. It is scheduled to release on 12 February 2021. Panja Vaishnav Tej is the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej and nephew of Chiranjeevi.
