He will play the main lead role in this movie. The film is directed by Nandita Das. This is a dream project of Nandita Das. Nawazuddin is portraying the character of Saadat Hasan Manto. Manto (1912-1955) was one of the greatest short story writers of his generation, and certainly the best-known and most controversial one from South Asia.
